KEELY, Gerald David "Jerry" - age 77, of Grand Blanc, passed away March 14, 2021. Visitation will be held 3-8PM Thursday, March 18, at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Private interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Michigan Cancer Foundation. Jerry was born September 9, 1943 in Flint, the son of William Thomas and Minnie Olive (Cook) Keely. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Jerry married Linda L. Holmes on January 8, 1966 in Flint. He was a member of the American Legion Post 64 for 37 years, the U.A.W. 659, and the ASA and NSA Umpires for 15 years. Jerry enjoyed painting cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by: his beloved wife of 55 years, Linda; children, Lon (Tracy) Keely, Gina (Matthew) Pearce; grandchildren, Maggie Pearce, Caleb Keely, Ella Keely; sister, Edna Fowler; several nieces and nephews; brother in law, Orval Ferrigan; and special friend, Edsel Steinley. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, James, Tom, George, John; and sisters, Leota Harmer and Ruth Ferrigan. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
