HARD, Geraldine, R. ï¿Â½" of Fenton, born April 20, 1922 in Wyandotte, OK, to Ora and George Harmon and passed on November 30, 2010. Sister to Betty Lou Small of Fenton and Claude A. Harmon of Flint deceased in WWII. Geri retired from the Fenton Area Schools Superintendants office in 1976 after 20 years to travel with her husband Robert. Geri was active in both the summer and winter Special Olympics and many other volunteer groups. She and Bob were volunteer superstars. She was preceded by her loving husband of 67 years, Bob and is mourned by her son David of Maricopa, AZ, daughters Janice Cook of Fife Lake, MI and Victoria Hard of New Port Richey, FL, beloved grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 18 and great-great-grandmother of 1. Geri and Bob traveled extensively to Europe, Africa, Asia, and Central America, Australia and most of North America and Mexico often taking grandchildren with them. Visitation will be at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Tuesday December 7. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Wednesday, December 8 at the funeral home, with Deacon Jack Daunt officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Special Olympics area 13, Munson Health Care Hospice of Traverse City, MI or any hospice.
