Gerald Jerry THOMPSON

THOMPSON, Gerald, (Jerry) age 84, of Florida, formerly Flint, has gone home to his loved ones, Thursday, July 16, 2009. He leaves behind his daughter Barbara Wilken; brother, Myron; sisters, Sue, Merilyn, and Beth; loving companion Dottie Williamson and her children, Sue, Sandy, and Rod; friend and son-in-law Kip; several nieces and nephews and so many more family and friends it would take forever to name. Jerry was a wonderful, kind, and loyal person. The world is a better place because he was in it. He retired from G.M. in 1982, was a WW II veteran in the Marine Corps., member of the Eagles, Moose, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, 40 & 8, and Life Member Marine Corps League. Many family members and friends anxiously awaited his arrival in Heaven, especially his son Jerry and grandson Todd, also brothers, Russ and Albert and sister Marcellina. Services will be 12 PM Monday, July 20, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-8 PM at the funeral home.
