Gerald Lee SPROUL

SPROUL, Gerald - age 97 of Flint, died Monday, September 3, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Gerald was born April 23, 1915 in Birch Run, the son of George and Laura (Beach) Sproul. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. Mr. Sproul retired from General Motors in 1975 with 30 years of service. Surviving are: daughters, Sharon Draper of Flint, Charleen (Charles) Troyan of Grand Blanc; granddaughters, Lisa (Damond) Farney of Burton, Kimberly (Gary) Alward of Grand Blanc; great-grandchildren, Haley, Cierra and Joshua; brother, Walter (Theda) Sproul of Birch Run. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonita; brothers, Earl, Floyd and Walter; sisters, Genevieve, Helen and Marjorie.
