Gerald Louis FULKERSON

FULKERSON, Gerald L.-- Age 62, of Flint, formerly of Ferndale, died November 5, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday November 13 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Pastor Arthur Lee officaiting. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 2-6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Fulkerson was born May 18, 1950 in Detroit the son of Estel Bernard and Evelyn Mae(Holmes)Fulkerson. He married Sandra Sanford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and had served on the USS Midway. Mr. Fulkerson had worked for the City of Ferndale. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans in Burton. Surviving are wife Sandra; 2 sons Glen Baker, William Fulkerson; granddaughter Megan. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons George and Gerald; and three brothers Thomas, Dennis and Edwin.
