Gerald Ditri

DITRI, Gerald Nicholas - age 81 of Fenton, died September 27, 2022. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:30 PM Friday, September 30, 2022, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Visitation will be held 3-7 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 where a scripture and sharing service will be held at 6 PM Thursday evening. Visitation will also be held from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Friday at the church.  Gerald was born February 18, 1941, in Detroit, the son of Nicholas and Mary (Mancini) Ditri. He married Jane W. Herr on May 23, 1964. Gerald was a banker for many years with Manufacturers Bank (now Comerica) and retired as a Vice President. After retirement he also worked with the National Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC). He and Jane retired to Leelanau for many years, before returning to Fenton. Gerald loved playing Bridge and watching tennis. He was a devoted family man and known by all as an all-around nice guy. He adored his wife, children and grandchildren. Surviving are: wife, Jane; four children, Gerald Nicholas (Anne) Ditri, Jr. of Grand Blanc, Christopher James (Cathy) Ditri of Rochester, Douglas William (Pam) Ditri of Dansville, and Jennifer Jane (Brian) Frangella of Homewood, IL; seven grandchildren, Marisa, Audrey, Jerry, Tori, Alayna, Kelly and Andrea; three great-grandchildren, Cole, Avery, and Ella; brother, Arnold (Patty) Ditri.
