Gerald Cook

COOK, Gerald Ray- age 80 of Grand Blanc, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019. A memorial service will be held 1PM Friday, May 3, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Greg Hendricks officiating. Visitation will be 12PM until the time of service Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Old Newsboys of Flint Ray was born September 17, 1938 in Flint, the son of John and Ruth (Daniels) Cook. He married Leota Tubbs in Flint on May 5, 1967. Ray was employed by AC Spark Plug for many years. He owned and enjoyed restoring old cars. Ray also enjoyed target shooting and playing his guitar. Surviving are: his beloved wife of 51 years, Leota; children, Cathy (Matt) Barton, Kenneth (Janette) Werth, and Ted (Tamara) Werth; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Dale Cook; several nieces and nephews.
