CHENE, Gerald "Jerry" Lee- Age 75, of Fenton, died Sunday May 11, 2014. Visitation will be held 4 - 6 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 1000 Silver Lake Road. Pastor Dean Dumbrille officiating. Private Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Trinity Lutheran Church. Jerry was born December 21, 1938 in Fenton, the son of Joseph and Pauline (Neely) Chene. He served in the U.S. Marines. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Jerry did standup comedy at various venues. He entertained at the Chesaning Showboat. He was a member of the Talisman Folk Group, they sang at Carnegie Hall in the 1960's. Jerry is survived by son, Jeffrey (Dorinda) Chene of FL; daughter, Jana (John) Magliano of FL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
