BRADLEY, Gerald C. -- Age 76, of Durand, died Tuesday, Augsut 1, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, August 5, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Pastor John H. Walworth officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-9 PM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or to the Durand Area Loaves and Fishes. Mr. Bradley was born July 16, 1930 in Flint the son of Claude A. and Nellie F. (Hill) Bradley. He had resided in Durand for 60 years. He was married to Lauretta A. Conroy on August 25, 1951 in Gaines. Mr. Bradley retired from General Motors in 1987 working in the finance and accounting department with 33 years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 3851 in Durand, and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He enjoyed a music career that spanned over 60 years, playing the steel guitar with the Connie Dycus band for over 25 years in the 1960's and 1970's, and playing in most recent years with the Clarksons. Surviving are: wife Lauretta; four children, Rod and wife Lisa of Owosso, Randy of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Sheryl and husband Joe Zdunic of Durand, Darren of Durand; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
