George Woods Ii

WOODS, George Dennis II -- Age 57, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, May 30, 2014 at his parents home. Services will be held 7 PM Tuesday, June 3 at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Pastor David Krueger officiating. Visitation will be held 3-7 PM Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Habitat for Humanity or the North End Soup Kitchen. George was born August 23, 1956 in Flint, the son of George and Jacqueline (Bigelow) Woods. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School. Mr. Woods was a firefighter for the City of Flint and retired in 2000. Surviving are: parents George and Jacqueline; children, George (and wife Veronica) Woods III of Kingwood, Texas, and William Woods (Nicole) of Flint; grandchildren, Jacob and Jackson; sisters Wendi Woods (Dave Sullivan) , Elizabeth Curtis, and Jacqueline Woods; former wife, Cheryl Woods; and many good friends.
