George Scheipner

SCHEIPNER, George - age 84, of Palm Harbor, FL, formerly of Michigan, died January 31, 2022. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 11, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9 AM - 11 AM Friday, February 11, 2022 at the funeral home. George was born December 27, 1937 in Romania, the son of George and Elizabeth Konnerth Scheipner. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and married Reta Neace on October 29, 1960. George retired as a District Manager for the Detroit News after 42 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Reta; sons, George (Dawn) Scheipner, David Scheipner, and Michael Scheipner; daughter, Susan (Andy) Werner; five grandchildren, Laura and Karen Scheipner, Carter George, Adie and Max Werner.
