George Moses

MOSES, George - age 86, died March 26, 2008 in Columbus, OH where cremation took place. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Medical Center. George was born October 23, 1921 in LaCross, WI, the son of John and Jenny (Shalhoub) Moses. George fought in WWII in the Pacific Theater in the U.S. Marine Corps. as a Navigator and Bombardier where he was decorated several time. He moved to Flint after the Marines and worked in commercial construction for 55 years. Surviving are: nieces, Janice Donaldson, Patricia Pettis, Donna (Thomas) Kilbride, Joyce Shain; nephew, Mitchell Salem. George also leaves "daughter", Nancy King and her family, along with many good friends. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Julia (Albert) Moses; sisters, Anna, Mary, Eva, Waddia and Catherine; brother, John, William and Robert.
