George F. Medich, Sr.

MEDICH, George F., Sr. - age 87, of Flushing, died July 1, 2024. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the time of memorial service at 2 PM Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Compassus Hospice, 5445 Ali Dr Suite 600, Grand Blanc Twp, MI 48439. George was born May 27, 1937 in Flint, the son of Fred and Rose (Charvat) Medich. He was a graduate of Beecher High School. George married Irmgard Ries. He sold cars for many years and retired from Imperial Sporting Goods. George loved cars, he was member of the Michigan Hot Rod Association. He had an International Class Champion Lincoln Mark IV for four years in Las Vegas. George was a state representative for Custom Kemps of America. Surviving are: wife of 51 years, Irmgard Medich; six children, Mike and wife, Aleta Medich, Dan Lewis and special friend, Rosie; Cathy and husband, Gary Davidson, George and wife, Cindy Medich, Jr., Lisa and husband, Phil Austin, Sarah and husband, Glenn Farmer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty (George) Rietz, Kathy (Norm) Funch, Helen Haggadone, Fred (Elaine) Medich, Jr., Mary (Kevin) Cussans, and Dan (Martha) Medich.
