George Marsik

MARSIK, George Lloyd - Age 75, of Fenton, died Friday, April 24, 2015. Memorial Mass will be celebrated 3 PM Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. Fenton. Fr. Dwight Ezop celebrant. Family will receive friends from 2 PM until the time of Mass. George was born June 8, 1939 in Owosso, the son of Lloyd George and Anna Marie (Hlavac) Marsik. Prior to retiring from General Motors after 43 years of service, George worked at Universal Electric in Owosso. He was an avid fly fisherman on the AuSable River. George was a pilot and enjoyed gardening, baking and canning. He loved spending time with his family, baseball, Corvettes, animals and spending time in Florida. George is survived by his wife, Linda; children, David (Monique) Marsik, Matthew Marsik, Kristi Marsik; step-son, Brad (Nikki) Trimble; grandchildren, Catherine and Jacob; step-grandchildren, Diana and Bradley.
