MAKRANYI, George Paul, Sr. of Flint Township, age 76, died peacefully November 28th 2020 at McLaren Hospital. Due to CDC/Covid regulations the family has decided to hold a memorial service at a later date and time. George was born on November 19th 1944 in Flint Mi to Helen and Steve Makranyi. He graduated from Sacred Heart High in 1962, then went on to pursue an Associates Degree. George spent 42 years working in the shop repairing machines. In his spare time he was a member of The Quarter Notes, playing the Trumpet, Trombone or Harmonica.George married his high school sweetheart Dorothy Fultonovich in 1965 the couple later went on to have three children. George loved motorcycles, cars, spending time listening to music and learning about computers. He will always be remembered for his giant smile and wave when you walk into a room.

George is survived by his Wife Dorothy Makranyi; 3 Children: George Makranyi Jr, Steve Makranyi, Lisa Bard; Grandchildren: Rolecia Looney, Marley Bard, George Makranyi III, Mason Makranyi, Grayson Makranyi, Jamal Makranyi-Broadnax, Matyas Makranyi; Siblings: Father Steve Makranyi, Ann (Larry) Schutt, Susan (Paul) Brown; many nieces and nephews.
