George Keeble, Iii

Keeble III, George J. of Fenton, age 72, passed Friday, August 14 2020 at his home. Visitation will be 3-6 PM Wednesday, August 19 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. No service is planned. Contributions in memory of George may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton. George was born on December 27, 1947 in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Geneva and George Keeble Jr.

On July 23, 1966 he married Joy in Utica, Michigan and his pride and joy, his son, George Keeble IV was born in 1967. His grandchildren, Tyler and Heather were the “apples of his eyes.” and he enjoyed any time that he could spend with them. He attended Detroit College of Applied Science and worked as an apprentice at Barker Tool and Die in Warren Michigan for a few years before moving to Fenton where he worked many years in the drywall business. He also was a semi- truck owner/operator and drove inter-state, working while enjoying seeing the country.

He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting with his son, grandson and many friends. He was a true car and motorcycle lover and “Street Rodder.” He enjoyed  working on cars and going to car shows. He liked helping his friends and passing on his mechanical abilities and knowledge which will be missed by many.

Surviving are his wife, Joy; Son, George (Jennifer), Grandson, Tyler (Breonna), Granddaughter, Heather (Brad) Sister in-law, Phyllis Larson and Brother in-law Robert Paradise (Linda); Many nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends.

He is preceded in death by his Father; George Jr., Mother Geneva (Ingalls), Grandfathers; Byron Ingalls, George Keeble Sr. and Sister; Sylvia (Moore).
