George W. 'Buck' Wilson, Hr.

WILSON, George W. Buck, Jr.  Age 61, of Flint, died Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at his residence. Services will be held 1 PM Monday, November 22, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev, George W. Wilson III and Rev. Dale Lotter officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be from 6-9 PM Friday, 2-4 and 6-9 Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family. Mr. Wilson was born March 1, 1943 in Flint, the son of George W. and Marie (Smith) Wilson. He married Mary A. Gross on February 6, 1971 in Flushing. Mr. Wilson had resided in Flint his entire life and was a Station Attendant at Mattis, Inc. for 11 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Wilson enjoyed his family and grandchildren and had an exceptional relationship with Ryan. Surviving are: wife, Mary; son, Rev. George W. Wilson III and wife, Tammy; four grandchildren, Nathan, Ryan, Adam and Faith; two sisters, Judy and husband, Bill Higdon, Lorraine and husband, Gary Dues; three brothers, Elmer Wilson and wife, Janice, Bobby Wilson and wife, Bernice, Clinton Wilson and wife, Rose; mother-in-law, Dolores Gross; sister-in-law, Doneva Wilson; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Billy Wilson. The family would like to thank Genesys Hospice and Genesys Cancer Center nurses.
