Everhart, George Donald - Age 98, of Charlotte, formerly of Holly, died November 21, 2019. Private service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. George was born April 8, 1921 in Flint, Michigan, the son of George Everhart and Ella (Boyer) Everhart. He graduated from Flint Central High School in 1940. George was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard serving from July of 1942 to October of 1945. He retired from GM as a sheet metal inspector with 33 years of service with Fisher Body Grand Blanc. George was a member of the UAW Local #1292, the American Legion, National Rifle Association. He was also a member of Harley Owners Group, United Sidecar Association, and Michigan United Conservation Club. George was a life member of the American Motorcycle Association. He was a longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ Oakwood Branch Michigan. He held the priesthood office of priests since 1945 and held the office of elder since 1966. He was survived by his son, Gary D. Everhart; grandson, Tracy Everhart; two great-grandsons. George was preceded in death by his parents; wife Louise May Everhart in 2009; son; Gregg A.
