DAVISON, George Douglas - age 72, of Lennon, died Saturday, June 3, 2017 at McLaren - Flint. Funeral services will be held 9 AM Monday, June 12, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. George was born October 23, 1944 in Lansing, the son of George Albert and Ina Mae (Schram) Davison. He was a veteran of U.S. Army and retired as a millwright from General Motors. George enjoyed camping and was a member of Tails-A-Waggin. Surviving are: wife, Joyce of Lennon; special nephew, George Arthur Davison; two step-sons; two step-daughters; two grandsons, CJ and Brody that were very dear to him; step-sons, Andy, Danny and David; step-daughter, Lynn; sister, Rosemary (Sam) Hasty of OH; many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; two wives, Ilene Davison and Janet Davison, the love of his life; three siblings, Terry Davison, Sue Bouche, Gaye Dashrovich; niece, Channa Tipton.
