George Charles Daian

DAIAN, George Charles - Age 83, of Linden, passed away on November 21, 2024 He was born on January 12, 1941, in Detroit, to Vasalie and Sally (Uracus) Daian. George proudly served as a veteran of the U.S. Army and dedicated 34 years of his career to Ford Motor Company, where he retired a Superintendent. George married Darla G. Funk on July 3, 2010, and together they shared many cherished moments. He was known for his vibrant spirit, love for telling jokes, storytelling, and a talent for whistling and singing. He is survived by his beloved wife, Darla G. Daian; children: Todd (Jill) Daian of Sterling Heights, Kathy (Tom) Sisler of Emmett, Gloria (Jeff) Wilson of New Lothrop, and Sharon (Gary) Ferro of Shelby Township. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sister, Rose Murowski of Thousand Oaks, CA, and numerous nephews. George was preceded in death by his parents. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, located at 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430.
