BRYDGES, George Clifford, age 66, of Farmington Hills, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009. Burial will be 10:00AM Friday, June 26, 2009 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Veteran's Hospital. George was born November 26, 1942 in Port Huron, the son of Clifford John and Hazel Rhea (Young) Brydges. George was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He enjoyed word search puzzles. Surviving are his 2 daughters, Tawana Brydges; son, George C. Brydges, Jr.; his grandchildren; sister, Lora White; brother, Richard Brydges; niece, Dannielle Fisher. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel in 1972; father, Clifford in 1987; sister, Lois Elkins in 1990; and nephew, Gene White Jr., in 2001.
