George Edward Bignall

BIGNALL, George Edward - age 89, of Linden, died Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 4 PM Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden with Rev. Donald Neuville officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to American Heart Association. Mr. Bignall was born September 12, 1919 in Flint, the son of Raymond Walter and Vera (Gibbs) Bignall. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. Mr. Bignall married Wanda Bond on June 29, 1974. He retired from General Motors in 1982 after 18 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Wanda; four daughters, Beverly Reynolds of Fenton, Karen Yarina of FL, Earlene and husband, Ronald of Linden, Sharon and husband, Robert Nickolai of Linden; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; five siblings, Robert Bignall of Linden, Charles Bignall and wife, Donna of Tawas, Herbert Bignall of Flint, Vera Louise Selfridge of WA; Barbara Webster of FL. He was preceded in death by: two daughters, Linda and Judy; grandson, Randy Reynolds; two great-grandsons, Huston Griffin and Christian LaBonte.
