George Baragwanath

BARAGWANATH, George Henry - age 87, of Flint, died December 24, 2021. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (www.t2t.org). George was born September 20, 1934 in Flint, the son of John and Bertha Baragwanath. He attended Flint Technical High School and married Penney Sumner on October 18, 1969. George worked with IMA Vending. He was an avid golfer and had been a long-time member of Clio Country Club where he was past President. George also enjoyed bowling. Surviving are: wife of 52 years, Penney; children, Greg (Nancy) Baragwanath; Ronda Balmer; and Rick (Laura) Baragwanath; grandchildren, Jerimihah (Miki), McKenzie, Nikki, and Matt (Kristin); great-grandchildren, Kenna and Riley; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his grandson, Ryan; one brother and two sisters.
