George Henry Adams, Jr.

ADAMS Jr.,  George Henry,  age 53 of Burton,  died Monday, December 12, 2005 at home.  George was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 28,1951 a son of George H. and Mae (Eckert) Adams.  He had been a  Swartz Creek resident for 17 years until moving to Burton recently.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served in Viet-Nam.  George was employed by General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 2002.  He was a devoted and loyal fan of the Ohio Buckeyes.  Surviving is his wife Rebecca; 3 children, Brittney and Brady Adams  both of Swartz Creek and their mother, Jill Adams and Gabriel Adams of Saginaw.  Also surviving is his mother, Mae Adams of Swartz Creek a sister, Marylynn of Cleveland, Ohio, several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Denise Loje of Swartz Creek.  George was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Patricia Adams.  Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 16, 2005 from the Sharp Funeral Home Miller Rd. Chapel  8138 Miller Rd.  Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer will officiate.  Services ill Conclude at the funeral with interment later at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 P.M. and Friday from 12:00 P.M. to service time.   Memorial contributions are being accepted to a educational fund for Brittney and Brady Adams.   Friends may share online condolences or post tributes at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
