Geoffrey Gordon Miodowski

Miodowski, Geoffrey Gordon- Age 67, of  Brighton, formerly of Linden, died August 26, 2023. Private burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 22, 2023 at Cornerstone Church, 9455 Hilton Road., Brighton. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 AM until the service time on that day.  Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad Street, Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 

Geoffrey was born December 15, 1955 in Ferndale, Michigan, the son of Stanley Miodowski and Pearl (Weinke) Miodowski. He was a graduate of John Glenn High School. Geoff served in the U. S. Navy. Geoff married Elaine Mooney on October 5, 2002 in Brighton. He was employed by Red Spot Paint and Varnish for many years. He was a member of Cornerstone Church in Brighton. He was a fisherman and hunter, and an avid gardener. 

Surviving are: his wife Elaine; three children, Geoffrey (Cristen) Miodowski Jr., Brandon (Samantha) Miodowski, Rebecca (Matt) West; two step-children, Carly (Mark) Ostroski, Katherine (Andrew) Waligorski; grandchildren, Raylee, Declan, Ravenna, Maxam, Dakota, Lilly, Steven, Jenny and David. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Jenny and Holly; and grandson Lewis.
