Vallance, Jr., Glenn Gustin- Age 88, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Richmond, Michigan, and Pacioma, California, passed away November 15, 2024. A Committal Service will be at 12:30 PM Monday, December 2, 2024 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad Street, Linden.
Glenn was born March 27, 1936 in Missouri, the son of Glenn G. Vallance Sr. and Oena (Sheets) Vallance. He married Ann Marie Galasso on April 18, 1959. Glenn was a retired Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force with over 20 years of service. During his military career, he worked as a X15 mechanic, missile systems technician at Vandenberg AFB, and retired in Minot, ND having worked in base safety. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for Hughes Aircraft Company where he assisted in launching satellites on the Shuttle from Cape Canaveral. He fully retired in 1992.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ann Marie Vallance; two sons, Glenn G. "Mike" (Kimberly) Vallance, III and Frederick "Derick" (Ashley) Vallance; grandchildren, Dashiel Vallance, Charles "Chuck" (Oralia) Lindsey, Gina (Anthony "Tony") Giraud; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Cathie Koetje and Charles "Pat" Vallance.
