Genevieve WISNIEWSKI

WISNIEWSKI, Genevieve (Godlesky) - Age 81, of Grand Blanc, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer. At her request, cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will be held 10:30AM Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Holy Family Church, 11824 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc with Fr. Ken Coughlin celebrant. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Genevieve was born December 23, 1927 in Flint, the daughter of Anthony and Rose (Pancheck) Godlesky. She was married to Harry Wisniewski on October 29, 1949; he preceded her in death on March 5, 2006. Mrs. Wisniewski retired from AC Spark Plug with many years of service. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. Surviving are: children, Mark of Davison, Diane of Grand Blanc, Gary of Flint, Lynne (Victor) Shepherd of Grand Rapids, Todd (Jennifer) of Berkley; grandchildren, Brian, Justin, Taylor, Taryn, Vance and Oliver.
