Genevieve M. Studnicka

STUDNICKA, Genevieve M. - age 93, of Swartz Creek, died August 18, 2011. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, August 22, 2011 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 7563 Mary Street, Swartz Creek. Fr. Daniel Kogut celebrant. Visitation will be held 1-4 PM and 6-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, and 10 AM until the time of Mass Monday at the church. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home 7 PM Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Food Pantry (located at the Swartz Creek United Methodist Church). Genevieve was born June 19, 1918, in Flint, the daughter of Martin and Sophia (Kudla) Kowalec. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and their Alter Society. She was also a member of the Swartz Creek Friendship Club. Surviving are: children, Diane Sturm, of Swartz Creek, Charles and wife Nancy Studnicka of Florida; granddaughter, Stacey and husband Tony Springer; great grandchildren, Charles and Zoe Springer, Phillip and Annemarie Studnicka.
