Genevieve G. Stefaniak

STEFANIAK, Genevieve G.  Age 89, of National City, formerly of Flint, died Friday, March 12, 2004 at her residence. Services will be held 11 AM Monday, March 15, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. JD Landis officiating. Interment will be held at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or the charity of ones choice. Mrs. Stefaniak was born September 9, 1914 in Flint, the daughter of Ernest and Luella (Johnson) Wilson. She married Clayton P. Erickson in 1931 and he preceded her in death on September 2, 1942. She then married Theodore J. Stefaniak on February 18, 1955 and he preceded her in death on December 7, 1989. Mrs. Stefaniak retired from A.C. in Fuel Pump manufacturing in 1971, after 30 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are: two daughters, Doris Lorraine and husband, Stanley Tomczyk, Phyllis Jean McCall; son, Clayton John Erickson and wife, Susan; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert A. Wilson and wife, Colleen; sister, Margaret Jane and husband, Frank July. She was also preceded in death by: two sisters, Evelyn and Helen; brother, Johnny.
