FOX, Genevieve Marie - Age 88, of Grand Blanc, died at her home, Sunday, December 4, 2005. Mrs. Fox was born in Bay City on December 26, 1916, the daughter of Ernest and Mary (Fose) Tomczak. She graduated from St. Michael's High School class of 1935 and married Allyn F. Fox on September 7, 1940. He preceded her in death on December 9, 1992. Mrs. Fox was an office secretary for St. Michael's Rectory in Flint, retiring in 1977. Marie was a past president of the Altar Society at St. Luke Catholic Church until moving to Linden where she lived for 27 years and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Upon moving to Grand Blanc, she joined Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Surviving are: her children, Bill and wife Dee Fox of Grand Blanc, Robert and wife Nancy Fox of Iowa, Richard and wife Diane Fox of Gaines, Karen Fox of Flint and Timothy Fox of Florida; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter; brothers, Ernest and wife Rose Tomczak of Flint, Gerald and wife Barbara Tomczak of Fenton; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. She was also preceded in death by: her sister, Shirley Edwards; husband, Jack; and her parents. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Rd., Fr. Gary McInnis celebrant. Visitation will be held 3-9PM Tuesday and 12-9PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. A rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7:30PM.
