Genevieve Patricia COLE

Cole, Genevieve Patricia - age 78, died Friday, October 21, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Rev. Donald Neuville will officiate. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 1-4 PM and 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genevieve P. Cole Memorial Fund. Genevieve was born October 11, 1933 in Washington Court House, OH., the daughter of Donald and Ella Mae (Griffiths) Smith. She was a bus driver for Linden Community Schools for 21 years. She was also a driver for VicCanaver for 21 years. She was a 1951 graduate of Beecher High School and a member of the Beecher High School Alumni Card Club. Genevieve is survived by her husband, Frederick; 3 children, Paulette Cole of Linden, Peggy (Edward) Garber of Indiana and Michael Cole of Linden; 7 grandchildren, Tom (Amy) Cole of Grand Blanc, Jeff Cole of Linden, Michelle Cole of Linden, Emily (Jason) Reckling of Skidway Lake, Keith Garber of Indiana, Tracy (Candace) Choate of Linden and Rebecca Lowry of Owosso; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Donald (Theresa) Smith of Clio and several nieces and nephews.
