Geneva Fern Fizell

FIZELL, Geneva Fern - Age 94, of Flint, died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Fenton Extended Care. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to McLaren Hospice or the Women's Shelter of Flint. Mrs. Fizell was born May 19, 1912 in Osseo, Wisconsin the daughter of Julius and Myrtle (Gilbertson) Moe. She married Dewey Fizell in 1934 and he preceded her in death in 1985. Surviving are 6 children, Gloria and husband Van Peterson of Bayfield, WI, Jacqueline Weishuhn of Flint, Roland and wife Patricia Fizell of Flint, Michael and wife Kay Fizell of Port Charlotte, FL, James and wife, Jacqueline Fizell of Swartz Creek, Richard and wife Jeanne Fizell of Olathe, KS; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
