Gene "Geno" Papineau

PAPINEAU, Gene Renard "Geno" - age 54, of Fenton, died August 9, 2020. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettel officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital. Gene was born August 30, 1965 in Pontiac, attended Fenton Schools and lived in Fenton most of his life. Surviving are: daughter, Shayleia Burkholder; mother and step-father, Victoria and Kenneth Talcott of TN; brother, Geffrey Papineau of Fenton; step-siblings, Thomas Murray of Otisville and Samantha Murray of FL; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by: his father, Gerald Papineau; and grandfather, Walter Markle; grandmother and grandfather, Arlene and Zeb Holland. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
