Gene Jarrell

JARRELL, Gene  age 67, of Flint, died Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Robert Dickie officiating. Interment will be held at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association. Gene was born July 12, 1936 in Aid, MO, the son of Perry W. and Edith M. (Wren) Jarrell. He was a cashier and clerk at Hamady Brothers Grocery Store for 30 years, retiring in 1983. Gene enjoyed crafts, sports, bowling and loved country music. Surviving are: sister, Shirley A. Hope of Flint; sister-in-law, Leah Jarrell of Swartz Creek; four nieces and nephews, Craig Jarrell, Laurie Webber, Denise Down, Mark Hoffman; four grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Jason and Lindsey Webber, Brendon and Mackenzie Down.
