Gayord John 'Woody' WOOD

WOOD, Gaylord John "Woody" - Age 72, of Inglis, FL, formerly of Fenton, died Friday, January 15, 2010 in Florida. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-9 PM. Mr. Wood was born October 10, 1937 in Owosso, the son of William Gaylord and Lorna Mae (Brown) Wood. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School. He married Rosie McCain November 17, 1999. Mr. Wood owned and operated Woody's Sunoco from 1970 until 1986. Surviving are: wife, Rosie; 3 children, Vicki and husband Rick Hickman of West Bloomfield, William Wood and Julie Strief of Fenton and Michael and wife Heidi Wood of Tyrone Township; his children's mother, Christine and Don Burdick of Fenton; step daughter, Brandy and husband James Ikemeier of Missouri; 10 grandchildren; sister, Rhonda White of Linden; several nieces and nephews.
