Gayle Hinson

HINSON, (Ronnie) Gayle - Age 75, of Flint formerly of Sterling Heights, died peacefully Sunday night, July 17, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Minister Paul Holland officiating.   Burial will be done privately by the family only in Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Shults Lewis Child and Family Services, 325S 150E Valparaiso, IN. 46383.
Gayle was born December 7, 1946 in Athens, AL, the daughter of Cecil and Mary Frances (Vincent) Johnson. Gayle married Larry David Hinson on December 16, 1972 in Detroit and he preceded her in death May 31, 2018.  She was a member of the Swartz Creek Church of Christ and a former member of North Warren Church of Christ.
Surviving are: her son, Brian (Leah) Hinson of Flint; grandson, Gabriel Hinson of Flint; sister, Sherry Johnson of Sterling Heights and nephew, JC (Erica) Johnson of Grand Rapids.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; twin brother, Lonnie Johnson; brother, Jerry Johnson; and sister, Elaine Johnson.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
