Gary Williams

WILLIAMS, Gary L.- Age 77, of Linden, died Saturday, January 9, 2016. A memorial gathering will be held 2-8 PM Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Cremation has taken place. Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society or U of M Cancer Center. Gary was born January 3, 1939 in Fenton, the son of Clare and Vivian (Reedy) Williams. Gary was married to Linda J. Rice on June 4, 1960 in Fenton. He retired from General Motors in 1992. Gary was an active member of Church on the Street and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Gary is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Greg Williams, Tim (Wendy) Williams, Chris Williams and Andrea (Ty) Smith; grandchildren, Alyssa, Brittney, Nickolas, Gabrielle and Meghan; brother, Clare Williams; many friends including his lifelong friends, Ward Smith and Duncan Moore.
