SCHRAMKE, Gary Anthony - age 72, of Flushing, went home to his Creator and Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center after a month long illness. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, November 7, 2009 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G3139 Hogarth Ave, Flint. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-9 PM Thursday and 2-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a scripture service will be held 7 PM Friday evening. Visitation will also be held 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to North End Soup Kitchen. Gary was born October 17, 1937 in Flint, the son of Anthony Joseph and Marion (Guillett) Schramke. Gary has been a special needs child and adult. He truly was an angel sent here to show is how to love everyone and teach us to be better people. We thank Jesus for the privilege of caring, loving and knowing Gary. Gary loved polkas, his pipes, cigars and lighters. In his later years he collected jack knives. His parents and sister cared from him all his life. He enjoyed going to his father's business Flint Ignition Service. He will be sadly missed by: sister, Chris House and brother-in-law, Larry; special mom, Lois House; special nieces and nephews, Chad Day, Dayna Day-Yankovich (Igor) and their children, Alex and Grace, Katerina Schramke (John), Jesseca LaBean, Bobby Schramke, Christina Lauzon (Bill), Heather Villarreal (David) and their son, Bailey, Heidi Green (PJ) and their children, Olivia, Emily, Chloe, and Sam, Paul House (Michelle) and their children, Maddy and Josie, Becky Lloyd (Robin) and their children, Aden, Avari and Caleb; favorite ex-brother-in-law, Al Day (Sue); special friends, Don O'Keeffe, Jack Doering; friends, Frank Perez, Ranny Stone and Jerry Smith; special caregivers, Pam Simpson, Michele Cwiklinski, Cynthia Kimbrough and the staff of Hurley ICU.
