MITCHELL II, Gary James -- Age 45, of Lake Fenton passed away January 30, 2016 at home due to congestive heart failure. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. Fenton. Gary was born September 27, 1970 to parents Gary James and Vicki Lynn Mitchell in Flint, Michigan Gary was a 1989 graduate of Lake Fenton High School and studied at Lincoln Tech Institute, East Windsor, Connecticut. He served in the Army National Guard and was previously employed by Caterpillar in Novi, Michigan and Jeffboat Shipyard in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the largest shipyard of America. Gary was an avid outdoor enthusiast from a young child living at Lake Fenton all his life. He enjoyed boating, barefoot water skiing, snow skiing, skeet shooting and fishing. The love of his life were his two sons, Nicholas James and Nolan Jack Mitchell of Swartz Creek, Michigan. Visitation will be held at 1PM Saturday, February 6, at South Mundy United Methodist Church, 10018 S. Linden Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2PM. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Children's Educational Fund. Gary is survived by his sons, Nicholas James and Nolan Jack Mitchell, Swartz Creek, His loving parents Gary James and Vicki Lynn Mitchell, Grandmother, Shirley P Mitchell, aunts, uncles and cousins.
