Gary Harrison

HARRISON, Gary H.- Age 67, of Lennon, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Calvary Baptist Church, 10500 Grand Blanc Road, Gaines.  Pastor Louis Canaday officiating.  Burial immediately following at Yerian Cemetery, Venice Township.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek from 5-9 PM Thursday, 1-4 and 6-9 PM Friday and at church from 10 AM until time of service Saturday.  Those desiring may make contributions to Calvary Baptist Church.  Gary was born July 9, 1940 in Owosso, the son of Benjamin and Flossie Harrison.  He was a graduate of Owosso High School.  He had resided in Lennon for the past 30 years coming from Owosso.  He married Sharon Irene Peterson February 9, 1963 in Owosso.  He retired from GM Fisher Body Coldwater Road after 37 years of service.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and U.A.W. Local 651.  Surviving are: wife, Sharon; 2 daughters, Sherry and husband John Lloyd of Swartz Creek, Julie Kallas of Durand; granddaughter, Hailey Kallas; 3 brothers, Herb Harrison of Arizona, Gordon and wife Nancy Harrison of Flushing and Joe Harrison of Harrison; 2 sisters, Marie and husband Dwight Hoadley of Owosso and Elnora Elfrink of Missouri; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Jonathan Kallas; 2 brothers, William and Milt Harrison; sister, Ann Sigafoose.  Online condolence and tributes may be posted on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
