Gary Ezell

EZELL, Gary Paul - age 68, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, September 22, 2018. Private services will be held at a later date. Gary was born March 2, 1950 in Flint, the son of Jesse and Florence (Bloss) Ezell. He was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School where he played football, basketball, track and golf. He continued to play golf his entire life. Gary was a tool and die maker at AC Spark Plug from 1968-1998. He received his private pilot's license in 1987 and flew on and off for 10 years. Gary was active in the Civil Air Patrol. His hobbies include, HAM radio, woodworking, woodcarving, candle making, vegetable gardening and most recently hydroponic vegetable gardening. Gary was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Family was the number one priority in his life. Surviving are: wife, Sandy of Swartz Creek; son, Jason Ezell of Grand Rapids; daughter, Shannon Alexander of Swartz Creek; four grandchildren, Korey Ezell, Kaitelynn Ezell, Breanna Sullivan, and Spencer Alexander; great-grandchild, Noah Sullivan and one great-grandchild on the way; brothers, Jim Ezell and Bob Ezell; sister-in-law, Kathy Gundry.
