Gary F. BARCUME

BARCUME, Gary F., Sr. - Age 68, of Linden, died Thursday, July 16, 2009 in a boating accident on Lobdell Lake. Services will be held 12 PM Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service Saturday. Gary was born July 30, 1940 in Flint, the son of Floyd and Marvel (Lockhart) Barcume. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and had retired from the City of Flint as a mechanic. He cherished the lake on which he lived most of his life. Surviving are: three children, Tanya (Dallas) Oskey of Belgium, Gary Barcume, Jr. of Flint, Melissa Barcume of Linden; granddaughter, Alicia Barcume of Kearsley; sister, Patricia Anderson of AR.
