DAGGETT, Garth Dale - Age 74, of Flint and Swartz Creek, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Rev. Daniel Blankenship will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-5 & 7-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Garth was born January 9, 1937 in Flint, the son of Arlo and Estella (McDonald) Daggett. He was a 1956 graduate of Flint Central High School and was married to Lois Margaret Stoddard on August 24, 1957. Mr. Daggett retired from McDonald Dairy with 45 years of service. Left to cherish his memory: wife of 54 years, Lois; children, Dale (Carol) Daggett of Swartz Creek, Robin (Wade) Hitchcock of Genesee, Dawn (Rev. Dan) Blankenship of Flint; nine grandchildren, Andrew (Jacqueline) Music, Adam (Jennifer) Daggett, Jodie Daggett, Alicia (Jeremy) Shaver, Shawn (Nicole Verran) Blankenship, Matthew Daggett, Alex (Hilliary) Blankenship, Jessica Blankenship, Emily Daggett; six great-grandchildren and two on the way; sister, Joann (Richard) Landrum; extended family.
