Garth Angell

ANGELL, Garth Wade - Age 60, of Gaines, died Saturday, January 30, 2016. Funeral services will be held 12PM Friday, February 5, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Dana Bland officiating. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Visitation will be held 2PM-8PM Thursday and 11AM until time of service Friday. Garth was born December 13, 1955 in Owosso, Michigan, the son of the late Arlo Angell and Virginia (Ramsey) Muchler. Garth Proudly served as a Seabee's Gunner's mate in the Navy from 1974 to 1977 and in the Navy Reserves until 1992. He retired from GM-Fisher Body as a tool & die maker with 31.5 years of service. Garth was a volunteer firefighter for the Swartz Creek, Groveland and Venice Fire Departments. Surviving are: wife, Bonnie Angell; sons, John (Elizabeth) Tallman of Durand, Henry (Rachelle) Angell of Gaines, Charles (Stephanie) Angell of Gaines and sister, Mary Jane Edwards of Arkansas. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Teresa and Frances.
