WRIGHT, Garda Ann - Age 88, of Linden, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Pastor Dawn Stoker officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 4-8 PM where a O.E.S. Memorial Service will be held at 7PM and visitation Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Garda was born October 5, 1929 in Flint, the daughter of Floyd and O. Lucille (Felch) Gamber. She was a graduate of Linden High School and attended Eastern Michigan University. She married Eugene H. Wright February 2, 1952 in Linden and he preceded her in death December 12, 2001. She retired in 1978 from the U.S. Postal Service in Linden after 24 years of service. Garda was a member of the Linden O.E.S. #175, Order of Rebekahs #509, and attended Linden Presbyterian Church. Surviving are: her children, Marta Gene Wright of Linden, Rande F. Wright of Burton, and Kurt W. Wright of Fenton. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, George Gamber. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
