Gail Holstad

HOLSTAD, Gail Lee - Age 74, formerly of Flushing, died Saturday, June 13, 2015. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 22, 2015 at Flushing United Methodist Church, 413 E. Main St, Flushing. Pastor Debbie Line-Yencer officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Gail was born May 3, 1941 in Saginaw the daughter of George Arthur and Octavia Albertina (Johnson) Turbin. She was a graduate of Mancelona High School and attended Ferris State University. She retired as a Administrative Assistant for GM. Gail was a former member of Flushing United Methodist Church. Surviving are: 3 children, Jill and husband Pierre Geurts of Seattle, WA, Jeff and wife Stephanie Holstad of Northville, and Brad and wife Lisa Holstad of Eaton Rapids; grandchildren, Aidan, Keenan, Jake, Zachary, Carli, and Mya; sister, Marlene and husband Fayze Jabara of Kalamazoo; brother, Denny and wife Kris Turbin of Gaylord; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Marlene and Don Stone of Flushing, Jan Wallen of Flushing, Jan Larson of Bay City, and Jan Biehl of Mancelona.
