G. Greg Fauth

FAUTH, G. Greg, age 75 of Flint, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Saginaw.  He was born in Flint on February 15, 1932 the son of Gerald W. and   Elsa Marie (Johnson) Fauth.  Mr. Fauth, a lifelong resident of the area attended Fenton Schools, the Culver Military Acadamy, Black Horse Troop, Denison College and a graduate of the University of Michigan.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean conflict. Mr. Fauth was an owner/agent for many years with the Fauth agency and later with the Al Bordeau Agency.   He was a member of The Genesee County Historical Society, The Antique Car Club, The Shakespere Club, The Knights of the Round Table, The Flint Rotary Club and St. Paul Episcopal Church. He also had helped the Sloan Museum in acquiring automobiles for it's collection. Surviving are his children:  Gregory C. Fauth of Flint, Todd M. Fauth and wife Linda of Goodrich,  Ned H. Fauth of Adrian.   Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, A brother, Gerald W. Fauth Jr. and wife Carole, a sister-in-law, Susan Fauth Cross and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother,  John N. Fauth. A memorial celebration of his life will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp.  Greg's family will be present for a time of visitation at the funeral home on Friday, January 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
