Frederick Vader

VADER, Frederick - Age 74, of Burton, died Wednesday February 11, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery . Visitation will be held 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to In Lieu of Flowers, To the Family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Frederick was born April 30, 1940 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Frederick and Dorothy (Alderson) Vader. Frederick served his country in the Army as a heavy truck operator earning the rank of PFC E3. He retired from General Motors V-8 Plant with 33 years of service. Fred enjoyed collecting and operating Hamm Radios, CB Radios and watching western movies and listening to western music. Surviving are: special friend, Sandra Vader; daughters, Teresa (Scott) Klida, Bethany Vader all of Burton; grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick, Matthew, Ashley, Emily Paschket, Makayla, Olivia; great-granddaughter, Alexis Kilda; sister, Donna Stoddard of Flint; several nieces and nephews.
