Frederick Arthur Schei

SCHEI, Frederick Arthur - Age 76, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, February 1, 2007 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Monday, February 5 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Saturday, 1-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. Mr. Schei was born February 14, 1930 in Muskegon Heights, the son of Charles A. and Elaine M. (Arcond) Schei. He graduated from Muskegon Heights High School. He served as a Sargeant in the U.S. Air Force from 1947 to 1950. He married Mary Juanita Graves on June 20, 1952 in Muskegon, and has resided in Swartz Creek since 1960. Mr. Schei worked as a Cutter/Grinder for GM Chevrolet Truck and Bus, retiring in 1990 after 36 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Mary Juanita Schei; 2 children, Lisa Lee Coffell of Swartz Creek, Douglas Earl Schei of Swartz Creek; 3 brothers, Everett and wife Gloria Hubbard of Swartz Creek, John and wife Ruth Hubbard of Burton, Allen and wife Myrtle Schei of Carson City, MI; 2 sisters, Patricia Reedy of Flint, Arlene and husband Bill Howe of Carson City, MI; grandchildren, Nicole Schei, Bryan and wife Cheryl Schei, Kristen Tewksbury, Aaron Bunker, Carrie Coffell, Ciara Coffell, Cayla Coffell, and Justin Coffell; and 2 great-grandchildren, Harleigh Cooper and Cailyn Adduddell.
