PREISS, Frederick Alexander - Age 84, of Fenton, died Friday, February 3, 2017. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 2201 S. Old U.S. 23, Brighton. Fr. David Howell celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Howell. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a scripture service will be held at 6 PM; and 10-11 AM Tuesday at the church. Fred was born July 30, 1932 in Utica, MI, the son of Fred and Rosaline (Klein) Preiss. Surviving are: four children, Lorraine Coates, Mike (Terri) Preiss, Theresa (Chris) Carter, Eric (Jennifer) Preiss; six grandchildren, Thomas (Angeleah), Andrew, Danielle, Christopher, Alexandria, Matthew; He was preceded in death by: his parents; and sister, Lorraine.
